About My Money Adviser

My Money Adviser is a free, independent directory of financial advisers across Australia. We help consumers compare advisers on the information that actually matters — credentials, fees, independence status, and specialties.

Why we exist

Australia has around 15,500 registered financial advisers — down from over 26,000 just a few years ago. Higher qualification requirements under the FASEA reforms mean fewer advisers, but those remaining are better qualified than ever.

But finding the right adviser is still hard. Independence status, fee structures, product authorisations, specialties, and disciplinary history all affect whether an adviser is right for you — and this information is scattered across ASIC's register, licensee websites, and adviser profiles.

We believe this information should be in one place, freely available, with no accounts required, no paywalls, and no hidden fees. Just clear, transparent data sourced from ASIC's Financial Advisers Register to help you make an informed decision.

Data source

Adviser data is sourced from the ASIC Financial Advisers Register dataset published on data.gov.au under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia (CC BY 3.0 AU) licence. We update this data regularly to keep listings current.

For advisers

If you're a financial adviser, you can claim your listing for free and update your fees, specialties, availability, and practice details. We also offer optional paid tiers for increased visibility.
